Elaine Weiss’s “The Woman’s Hour: The Great Fight to Win the Vote”

Elaine Weiss’s The Woman’s Hour: The Great Fight to Win the Vote is the true story of the suffragettes. These are the female leaders who—in the face of enormous opposition—fought for and won American women’s right to vote in 1920. The Woman’s Hour is so popular, it will soon become a movie, a Broadway show, library displays, and a book for young readers. (previously aired on on April 5, 2019 and April 20, 2020)
