Black Talk: John Robinson-Miller IV and “The Cause” Shannon Young
The NAACP Boulder County has worked shoulder-to-shoulder with the founders of the Center for African and African American Studies to make the CAAAS (pronounced “the cause”) a reality.
Now that the CAAAS is up and running, we want to acquaint Black Talk listeners with John Robinson-Miller IV.
John, the Center’s dynamic, passionate, and inspiring Associate Director, is helping to build a network of integrated programs and support services for CU’s African, African American, and African diasporan students, faculty and staff.
We look forward to hearing about the CAAAS’s overarching mission and upcoming programming. And, of course, we will become better acquainted with this North Carolina transplant whose life motto is: Lead. Endure. Remember.
Please Note: Due to the KGNU Fund Drive, Black Talk aired one week later, on Thursday, 20 October @8:32am.
