KGNU’s Tish Beauford speaks with Advocacy Denver, a non-profit, civil rights advocacy organization serving children, teens and adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities — as well as their families — throughout the Denver community.
Today’s guests are Pam Bisceglia, the Coordinator for Child and Family Advocacy. As a single parent of a child with a disability, Pam has first-hand knowledge of family resources in Denver. Problem-solving, sensitivity, experience and knowledge of community resources for children and adults with disabilities are among her strengths. She is a devoted professional for individuals in need, bringing deep knowledge of public school operations and their obligation under state and federal law. Pam has been with Advocacy Denver since 2011. Pam is currently the Interim Director of Advocacy.
