The Boulder-based Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence (SPAN) works to end violence against adults, youth, and children. They’re hosting a back-to-school gift card outreach campaign to help meet the needs of young students whose lives are disrupted due to domestic violence. SPAN Marketing and Development Specialist, Kaylyn Fernn, joins us in the studio to discuss the back-to-school campaign, SPAN’s work and issues surrounding domestic violence locally.
