Positive People: Restorative Justice in Boulder County

Positive People brings inspirational role models who share tools and resources that the listeners can use today, now, right away. Co-hosts Raj Rawat and Sam Sussman speak with Elaina Shively, Deputy District Attorney and Executive Director of the Boulder DA’s Center for Prevention and Restorative Justice. These programs aim to deliver more effective, less expensive, and more engaging justice for the victim, offender, and the community. She describes restorative justice and diversion, who the programs serve, and why this alternative to traditional prosecution is a valuable and needed asset to our community that leads to better outcomes for everyone involved in the criminal justice system and improved safety for the community.
