Booktalk: Colorado-based science writer Christie Aschwanden’s “Good To Go”

Christie Aschwanden is the author of GOOD TO GO: What The Athlete In All Of Us Can Learn From The Strange Science Of Recovery.

Christie lives in western Colorado and is the lead science writer for 538. Her book examines recovery claims, many of dubious value. Here are 2 of my favorites: perfect food (beer) and celebrity technology ($200 infrared pj’s). But she also describes what works best.

A veteran host of KGNU’S “How on Earth” science show back in the day, Christie’s newest project is the podcast Emerging Form.
