BLM’s plan to sterilize wild horses draws criticism, lawsuit

On July 31st, the nonprofit Front Range Equine Rescue filed formal comments on Bureau of Land Management plans to give Colorado State University a research grant to perform experimental sterilization surgeries to control wild horse populations.

Historically, the BLM ignores comments like Front Range Equine Rescue’s and then animal advocates sue.
