OutSources: Leaning into Discomfort in the Age of New Media – A Conversation with Kat Blaque

Outsources producer Sean Kenney speaks with illustrator, animator, activist, and YouTuber Kat Blaque. We spoke with Kat in between sessions at this year’s TRANSforming Gender Conference in Boulder, Colorado, where she was featured as one of the keynote speakers.

In our conversation, Kat touches on unique questions that “new media” like YouTube and Facebook present, particularly given the current political climate in the United States. With a weekly following of 4 million, Kat touches on her own personal experiences navigating this new medium for conversation.
