Brady Plays the Fiddle

Melissa Auell is a new Colorado author who combines her love of bluegrass music and children’s books in Brady Plays the Fiddle. The picture book that inspires a love of bluegrass music in young readers aged 0-6 years of age.

Auell says she was inspired to write this story while looking for a simple children’s book that would encourage interest and love of music in young readers for her sons. “Our whole family is made up of musicians and, after searching extensively, I wasn’t able to locate a book that fit. This story is intended to be quick and fun to read while inspiring interest in music and instruments through bright, colorful images and rhythmic text.”
