News Director Shannon Young interviews  author, scholar and award-winner Bill McKibben about his latest book, The Flag, The Cross and the Station Wagon; A Graying American Looks Back at His Suburban Boyhood and Wonders What the Hell Happened.

McKibben is the founder of the environmental organization 350.org, author of multiple books – including American Earth, The Age of Missing Information and The End of Nature. He’s also the recipient of the Right Livelihood Award, often called the alternative Noble Prize.
