On today’s A Public Affair, we’ll spend the program with special guest Ian Brennan. He’s a Grammy award winning music producer who specializes in live field recordings, the author of seven books, and a conflict resolution specialist. His most recent field recording project, The Oldest Voice in the World (Azerbaijan) “Thank you for bringing me back to the sky” features people over the age of 100 and they’re all members of the Talysh ethnic group whose homelands span what is now northwestern Iran and parts of southern Azerbaijan.
