Boulder Deputy Police Chief on This Morning’s Boulder High Incident

Several Colorado schools experienced lockdowns this morning after a string of apparently false threats made against their communities. The calls alluded to threats against schools in Boulder, Brighton, Aspen, Cañon City and Estes Park. One of the first apparent targets was Boulder High School, which went into lockdown at around 8:45am. Due to the Wednesday late start schedule, most of the student body was not in the building at the time.

KGNU News Director Shannon Young spoke with Boulder’s Deputy Police Chief Stephen Redfearn shortly after the evacuation of students and staff from Boulder High School.
