From Currency to Classrooms, Representation Matters

KGNU is dedicating Wednesday A Public Affair programming during the month of February looking at various aspects of Black History within the United States.

Today News Director Shannon Young spoke with Clarence Lusane, a professor of political science, interim political science department chair and Director of the International Affairs program at Howard University. Professor Lusane is also an Independent Expert to the European Commission Against Racism and Intolerance and author of multiple books, including The Black History of the White House.

His latest book is Twenty Dollars and Change; Harriet Tubman and the Ongoing Fight for Racial Justice and Democracy.
