Rise Comedy Festival Brings Stand Up, Sketch and Improv to Denver July 20 – 29

Rise Comedy in Denver kicks off the RISE Comedy festival on July 20th. Running through July 29th, audiences can catch dozens of stand up performances, sketch comedy groups, and top-quality improv throughout the festival. KGNU’s Veronica Straight-Lingo spoke with Nick Armstrong, the owner of Rise Comedy about the festival and how comedy has created a sense of community for so many.
