A conversation with Dennis Creese, founder of KGNU’s “The Labor Exchange” KGNU News

Dennis Creese is a longtime KGNU contributor, award-winning producer, and the founder of the KGNU program “The Labor Exchange.”  He joined Liz Lane in a conversation to reflect on his experiences with the station, contributions, and his reflections about what the community has meant to him.

Creese discusses the inception of “The Labor Exchange,” particularly the importance of creating a program pertaining to labor leaders, union formation, and activity. He decided to interview people that were labor union members and had an “impact on working families.” Through this work, Creese was able to help shape policies with more of a pro-labor perspective.
