Local author Gary Alan McBride will be at the Boulder Bookstore this Thursday to discuss his new book, “Literary Forensics: How Reading Can Make You A Better Writer.” His book is designed to help writers, literary scholars, and anyone eager to deepen their understanding of how stories work. It teaches you to read like a writer and dissect the craft behind compelling narratives. KGNU’s Abby O’Brien spoke with Gary to learn more about why he wrote the book.
