“We can’t forget our history:” Sundance and local orgs bring Luís Valdez documentary to Boulder County

On Wednesday, Sundance partnered with the Longmont Museum, El Comité de Longmont, the Latino Chamber of Commerce of Boulder County, and Denver’s Su Teatro Cultural and Performing Arts Center to screen the film American Pachuco: the Legend of Luis Valdez. The documentary is the winner of this year’s Audience Award – US documentary and Festival Favorite at Sundance.

KGNU’s Abby O’Brien was joined by Carla Colin, Executive President of the Latino Chamber of Commerce of Boulder County, and longtime Chicano community activist and advocate Peter Salas, to discuss the screening.
