KGNU’s Abby O’Brien sat down with local author and historian Silvia Pettem for some local history lessons. Pettem has authored more than 20 books. Her most recent book is Separate Lives: uncovering the Hidden Family of Victorian Professor Mary Rippon. She has written local history columns for almost three decades.
