I love hosting Sound Lab, Dusty Grooves and the Afternoon Sound Alternative.
Who is your favorite artist and/or album of all time?
This one is hard. It would be a toss up between MF Doom, J Dilla or Prince.
What is your Zodiac sign and what (if anything) does it say about you?
Taurus: Stubborn, reliable, focused and appreciates beauty…sure, we’ll say it says everything about me.
If you could have any musician’s record collection, whose would it be?
Hands down, J Dilla (RIP). I could not imagine what his record collection looked like.
What song do you never get tired of playing on air?
I Don’t Know by Slum Village and DJ Jazzy Jeff (clean version, of course) on ASA or even If It Isn’t Love by New Edition on Dusty Groves.
What is something most people would be surprised to learn about you?
I have this weird photographic memory for music facts and pop culture. I can pull these out of my a$$ when someone says something about a musician, movie, or TV show from the past. It weirds people out, sometimes.
