This time of year, bears become more active as they gear up for hibernation by eating more. KGNU’s Abby O’Brien spoke to Boulder Principal Resource Project Manager and Advisor Valerie Matheson about increased bear activity this time of year, and what you can do to keep yourself and the bears safe.
