The gap between visibility and representation: A conversation with Nyasha Williams about her new book

There’s been a unique opportunity for adventure in Boulder for the past several weeks.

All down Pearl Street, businesses have partnered with local creative Nyasha Williams and the Boulder Bookstore to organize a streetwide “seek-and-find” event.

The experience is based around Williams’ latest book, Where is Koketso? The final day to participate is this Saturday, when Williams will host a closing conversation at the Boulder Bookstore about the book.

KGNU’s Jackie Sedley had the chance to catch up with Nyasha and talk about her mission as a creative and storyteller.

Williams will be discussing and signing her new book at the Boulder Bookstore on Saturday, April 26, starting at 11 a.m.

More information on the event can be found here.
