The Bell Policy Center wants to expand economic mobility for all Coloradans

The  Bell Policy Center is a Colorado based nonprofit founded in the year 2000 with a goal of expanding economic mobility for all Coloradans.

In order to understand and engage with the local community and their needs the center conducts both academic research and community engaged research.

The nonprofit works on a wide variety of things that create opportunities for people to grow their economic situation, these include access to affordable childcare or higher education, fair systems of taxation, going after predatory lending and making sure people have safer options for getting small dollar loans.

KGNU’s Chris Schultz spoke with the President of the Bell Policy Center Chris deGruy Kennedy about the organization’s mission and how it leads the work that they do.
