Su Teatro Celebrates Growth During 28th Annual Chicano Music Festival and Auction

There are lots of exciting things happening at SU Teatro Cultural and Performing Arts Center. Shortly after announcing they had purchased the Denver Civic Theatre outright this year, Su Teatro has announced they’re expanding again, growing their home base in the Santa Fe Arts District. From July 24 – 28th, they are holding their 28th Annual Chicano Music Festival and Auction, featuring lots of great music and community this weekend.

KGNU’s Veronica Straight-Lingo had a chance to speak with Su Teatro Executive Artistic Director Tony Garcia about all the exciting changes.
