Andrea Gibson, Colorado’s Poet Laureate for the next two years is an award winning spoken word poet who has performed all over the world. They have award winning books of poetry and recordings of their work. Currently a documentary is being made about them including while we were in the studio.
In this first of two interviews Andrea talks with host Karen Raforth about how important it is to have people fall in love with poetry and to find the poem that’s meant for them.
They begin to reveal what they have learned from the 2 1/2+ years journey with cancer and how it has changed their work, relationships and life.
