End of Life Series: Alzheimer’s

Today’s guests include Kim Mooney, an end of life educator, Megan Carnarius, a national expert on Alzheimer’s and author of A Deeper Perspective on Alzheimer’s and other Dementias: Practical Tools with Spiritual Insights; Lisa Apel who runs a caregiver support group specifically for caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s and Amelia Schafer with the Alzheimers Association of Colorado.

We discuss the difference between Alzheimer’s and other dementias.  It isn’t considered a terminal illness but there are different stages until someone dies.  What does that mean for end of life planning and decision making?
