The Public Radio News Directors Incorporated (PRNDI) Awards were given out this past weekend. This is a national competition with public radio stations around the country competing for recognition.
KGNU was honored in three categories.
- The Tank – First place in soft feature category
- A Quiet Trailblazer – Second place in long documentary category
- After the Flood – Second place in short documentary category
A Quiet Trailblazer also received a 2014 Award of Excellence from the Colorado Broadcasters Association for the Best News Special or Public Affairs Program.
