Robin Milam is Administrative Director for the Global Alliance for the Rights of Nature and walked with civil society groups in the annual march that takes place at the UN Climate Talks, this year in Lima, Peru.  The Alliance works for the recognition and honoring of trees, oceans, animals, and mountains as well as for the rights of human beings.  Prior to the march, the group took part in a tribunal that heard testimony about the violations that have taken place involving Denver’s Newmont Mining Corporation that operates a gold mine in Cajamarca, Peru.

Milam gives credit to the Boulder branch of the Global Alliance for the Rights of Nature in the following interview.
