Youth Activists Raise Their Voices in Climate Change Resistance

Young climate activists were front and center at the recent climate talks in Poland with young people having their voices heard on the failure to address the climate crisis that we’re all facing. Young voices are speaking out on climate around the world and an organization that has been facilitating a lot of that youth activism has its roots here in Boulder. We hear from Marlow Baines, Alexandra Travino and Aji Piper with Earth Guardians.

Earth Guardians and 21 youth plaintiffs are suing the federal government for the right to clean air, clean water, and a healthy future.

On October 16th, the Colorado Supreme Court heard arguments in another lawsuit involving plaintiffs from Earth Guardians. The Martinez vs Colorado suit boils down to whether public health and safety should be prioritized over oil and gas development.
