Women and Climate Change Part 2

Hear the voices of indigenous women around the world who are working to address the challenges of climate change in their communities. Their grassroots projects in agriculture, community development, deforestation and indigenous rights are inspiring examples of possible change. Global Greengrants sponsored a recent conference in Bali. They have granted small amounts of money to support many of the projects that will be featured. This is a continuation of the Hemispheres program last month on August 8, 2014. Host Nikki Keyser brings us interviews with Berta Caceres, Ursula Rakova, Mardiana Deren, and Paty Alonso.

Listen to Part 1, aired August 8. 2014.
