What happens when you call the CORRN hotline to report ICE activity? KGNU News

The Colorado Rapid Response Network, or CORRN, is a coalition of organizations working together to respond to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, activity in the state.

They have a hotline that anyone can call to report suspected ICE activity anywhere in the state, and they train volunteers to respond to those calls.

The hotline can also be used to connect with a member of their DocuTeam, which helps to document the event and refer callers to legal resources if their loved one was detained.

KGNU’s Abby O’Brien sat down via Zoom with Brithany Gutierrez, DocuTeam Coordinator with CORRN and the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition, to find out how these efforts are run and what happens when you call the CORRN hotline to report ICE activity. This conversation was recorded in late April.
