Wayne Watts Artist…Activist…NBA Champion

Wayne Watts is a dedicated arts and education advocate. He is the co-founder of the Dream Create Inspire Tour, and the Director of Player Engagement for our NBA Champion Denver Nuggets. Wayne is a 13 year Denver transplant. He’s a native of West Baltimore and a University of Maryland graduate.

He has cultivated a safe space of creativity for young people in Denver and across the country for over 15 years as the co-founder of the Dream Create Inspire Tour. He has dedicated himself to empowering our future generation of artists, educators and advocates by providing them with positive mentorship and guidance to instill them with confidence and transferable real world skills to achieve success. He is passionate about working with artists on their creative journey and has successfully fundraised for young artistic talent to showcase the DCIT multi-city social connections tour.

In addition to his great work with the Dream Create Inspire Tour, Wayne is the Director of Player Engagement for the Denver Nuggets. Hired by former Denver Nuggets General Manager, Tim Connelly in 2021, he has continued to cultivate his partnership with the Denver community by expanding his vision to the NBA. He works directly with Denver players and the Nuggets organization to help promote and sponsor positive and impactful social and academic programs.
