On the July edition of Black Talk, host Michele Simpson speaks with CU Regent Wanda James, who describes her approach to politics, activism, business, leadership, and life. We also learn about her early years as an “Air Force brat,” followed by her becoming a sociology major and member of the Naval Reserve Officer Corps at the CU Boulder campus.

Hear how Regent James perceives the intersections between the racial, political, social, and economic inequities that have been perpetuated by the cannabis industry and criminal justice system, and her role as one of nine Regents of the CU University system.
