Menconi had been excluded from the recent Club 20 debate with Democratic incumbent Michael Bennet and Republican challenger Daryl Glenn. Tang Williams had been allowed to participate in that debate having polled at a sufficiently high rate.

Menconi and Tang Williams are touring college campuses around the state in partnership with the Free and Equal Elections Foundation.

The September 15th debate was moderated by Corey Hutchins of the Colorado Independent.
