KGNU’s Don Davis spoke with Digger Braymiller, a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) in Boulder, about the world’s shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The IOOF organizes the world’s shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Boulder, happening Saturday, March 14 this year.

This celebration proves you don’t need miles of marching bands or giant floats to capture the fun. One of the highlights of the parade will be the 20-person drill team, Paddy O’Furniture, and their lawn chair synchronized drills.

If you’re planning to attend the world’s smallest St. Patrick’s Day parade, the advice from organizers is simple. Don’t blink. The whole thing may only last a few minutes, but the laughs, the cheers, and the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day make it one parade people definitely don’t want to miss.

The parade begins at noon, with festivities starting at 10 am. The parade will take place at 15th and Pearl Street.
