David Barsamian speaks with Rayan al-Amin, visiting the US from Lebanon. He is Assistant Director of Assam Fares Institute at the American University of Beirut.
al-Amin says what we’ve seen as a result of incomplete revolutions in some areas or revolutions that have turned into civil wars like in Syria, is that they’ve opened the doors for regional proxy wars and the obvious international world power struggles.
