What happens when baby birds aren’t successful in their initial attempts to fly? They may end up with Donna Nespoli, a bird rehabilitation expert and founder of Colorado Native Bird Care and Conservation. KGNU’s Benita Lee spoke with her about how she rescues wild birds and what it takes to survive what Nespoli calls “baby bird season.”
