Learn about the mountain lion’s relationship with Colorado

On this edition of A Public Affair, KGNU’s Jackie Sedley continued the conversation on the status of mountain lions and other large cats in Colorado, and the potential for an upcoming ballot measure – Proposition 127 – to change the way humans can legally hunt them.

Delia Malone is a field ecologist at Colorado Natural Heritage Program, though she did not speak on behalf of CNHP. She’s also the Wildlife Chair for the Colorado Chapter of the Sierra Club, and the vice-chair for Roaring Fork Audubon.

Dr. Barry Noon is a professor emeritus in the Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology at Colorado State University.

Both Malone and Dr. Noon joined Sedley via Zoom for the call-in conversation.
