Social Justice Groups Eye Boulder DA Race

Locally based social justice organizations say the reasons they’re keeping a keen eye on the race for Boulder County’s District attorney between Mike Foote and Michael Dougherty, concern everything from over-incarceration to the uptick in hate crimes.

Alex Landau and Juston Cooper with the Colorado Criminal Justice Reform Coalition speak with KGNU’s Robin Ryan about why people should pay attention to the District Attorney race and they discuss the the scope and authority of the office.  The CCJRC co-hosted a forum with the two Boulder County District Attorney candidates on Wednesday May 30th.
