Shot Four Times by DPD and Lives to Fight His Charges

This past week was a busy week in Denver District Court for defendants who are receiving a great deal of community support.  Those who defended themselves after being affected by police violence as well as activists who support them were all in court.  The majority of those cases will be heard next month.

Another case that turned out a number of people supporting him in court was that of Clarence Moses-El who was convicted after police destroyed DNA evidence that might have exonerated him of a 1987 rape conviction.  That case was continued and expected to be heard in July.

Sharod Kindell appeared in court last Thursday.  He is currently on bond for a case that his supporters say has been exaggerated with false accusations leading to false charges.  In addition, his supporters and his attorney say that he has always been a target of Denver police who would like to see his bond revoked.  The bond revocation hearing took place on Thursday:
