The 3rd annual Seeds of Doubt conference is happening at the Interlocken resort in Broomfield this weekend. The first conference was for health care practitioners who were concerned about the possible health impacts of Genetically Modified Organisms. This years conference has grown to include members of the general public interested in finding out more about GMOs. The 1st Seeds of Doubt happened in June 2012, long before efforts to get a state wide ballot measure on GMO labelling. Conference organizer Cheryl Grey says that while the two things are not connected, the original Seeds of Doubt conference helped raise awareness about GMOs in Colorado and that has contributed to the grass roots movement behind Proposition 105.
