Scholarship Funds Are On The Table for First Nation Students

 

Scholarships funds are on the table for First Nation students seeking to study renewable energy, but the deadline is fast approaching.

Transitioning to renewable energy involves a learning curve and requires training and expertise. The Renewable Energy Scholarship Foundation, based in Oregon, now has a scholarship for First Nations students to break into the field. But the foundation has had a hard time finding applicants, so has broadened its eligibility criteria.

KGNU’s Rossana Longo-Better spoke with Dave Reingold, president of the Foundation for Renewable Energy Scholarship.
