On Tuesday August 25, 2015 Black Lives Matter-Bay Area joined with TGI Justice Project for a rally brining attention to the violence faced by black transwomen. Across the country there were at least 14 other cities that held rallies and actions that aimed to address the violence faced by black and gender nonconforming women and girls on a daily basis.
