Radio Bookclub: Kevin Wolf and “The Homeplace”

The January 2017 selection is The Homeplace by Littleton, CO based author Kevin Wolf. He joined KGNU’s Maeve Conran and Arsen Kashkashian, head buyer from The Boulder Bookstore, on January 26, 2017.

“Kevin Wolf’s debut novel, The Homeplace, succeeds in every way. He has crafted a gripping, fast-paced narrative with beautifully-drawn characters in an authentic and interesting small-town Colorado setting. Not only is the mystery compelling, so are the characters. Even if there were no murders to solve, you would still want to spend time with these fascinating people whose lives echo the sparse and gorgeous landscape they inhabit and whose pasts refuse to leave them to their futures.” —Christine Carbo, author of The Wild Inside

KGNU is partners with the Boulder Bookstore for our radio book club. Every month Arsen Kashkashian, head buyer at the Boulder Bookstore, will select a book to inspire the KGNU listening audience to read along together. We will then be joined live in studio by the author for a discussion about the book. Arsen Kashkashian says participating in a bookclub is a great dynamic way for readers to enjoy a book.
