Radio Bookclub: Don’t Skip Out on Me

Musician and author Willie Vlautin joined us at the radio bookclub for our April installment to talk about his new book Don’t Skip Out on Me.

Vlautin writes about working class protagonists trying to get by in America in his novels and also his songs (Richmond Fontaine, The Delines.) His latest book follows protagonist Horace Hopper as he tries to find himself as he leaves a sheep ranch in Nevada to reinvent himself as a boxer.
