Nikhil Mankekar and Tracey Jones, co-hosts of our monthly series looking at issues facing People of Color in Boulder County (PoCo in BoCo), speak with Cornelius Duncan, a local musician who plays the kalimba, and long time civil rights activist.

    PoCo in BoCo: Honoring Black History Month KGNU News

 

Duncan and his music were featured in the recent documentary on the March on Washington DC 1963 where Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his historic “I Have a Dream” speech in front of the Lincoln Memorial.

The documentary will be screen at the Lafayette Public Library on February 20th at 6pm.

PoCo in BoCo airs on the 2nd Monday of every month at 8.35am on KGNU.
