Then, KGNU’s Juanita Hurtado Huérfano spoke with Chalkbeat reporter Ann Schimke about a lawsuit filed against the Colorado High School Activities Association. The lawsuit pushes against the CHSAA’s guidelines allowing transgender athletes to participate on sport teams that match their gender identity.
