OutSources – Love and Justice

Today is a day of mourning for those sickened and those lost by COVID-19; and other losses. It’s also been a week of anger and despair sparked by yet another murder of an innocent Black or Brown person at the hands of the police. The most recent victim was George Floyd most recently preceded in death by Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor. I reached back to the 2015 archives to the very articulate Rev Alicia Forde, who now leads the Unitarian Universalist Association as the Director of the International Office. The Reverend Alicia Roxanne Forde serves with the Unitarian Universalist Association as the Director of the International Office. She is a graduate of The Iliff School of Theology. Alicia identifies as an African descent queer, cis-gender female with deep roots in Tobago. Her words are still helpful now as we try to build back better from COVID-19 and the poisons of racism and white supremacy. We must understand how inextricably we are connected in healing our community; all need to be treated as beloved. Get more educated, involved and act. For one idea https://www.joincampaignzero.org/
