Outsources: How to be a Good Ally to Trans Folks

The results of the recent election suggest that a lot of marginalized groups could face major trouble in coming years. How can we be good allies to these groups? That’s the question we’ll be exploring in a series of programs on OutSources.

In the first show of this series, we explore transgender experiences and what it means to be an ally to trans people in this difficult time. We talk with Sara Connell, an out and proud trans woman, and Mardi Moore, who has won an award for her work as an ally to trans folks, about their experiences, the impact of the election, and their thoughts about how to move forward in a way that supports trans people, especially when the going gets tough.
