On The Anniversary Of Mass Shooting Rep. Judy Amabile Speaks On Changes Made To State Mental Health Systems

Today is the anniversary of one of the deadliest mass shootings in Colorado’s history.

In the aftermath, many groups have been working to curtail access to guns and have come forward to offer insights to talk about what they have learned.

Colorado State Representative Judy Amabile has made mental health advocacy a counter-stone of her work as a legislator. KGNU’s Rossana Longo-Better interviewed her at the tragic scene and today she talks to her about the changes made at the state level over the past year to support our mental health systems in Colorado.
