Nuns on the Bus in Boulder

The Nuns on the Bus were in Boulder earlier this week, to discuss the importance of voting in this year’s midterm elections. The sisters spoke to CU students at the University of Colorado’s University Memorial Center Atrium to encourage them to vote. The “We the People, We the Voters” bus tour, organized by NETWORK, A National Catholic Social Justice Lobby, is on a nationwide tour to engage voters and encourage voter registration at 75 events in 36 cities along a 5,252-mile route. Catholic sisters from each state along the route will join the tour to hold voter registration drives, visit Catholic social service sites and host town hall meetings to hear the concerns of local communities.
John K. Wilson spoke with Sister Simone Campbell.
